Following the long tradition of artists exploring the theme of ‘home’, my works are built from photographs of the domestic environment. These are intended to reflect the fragmented way in which we inhabit our surroundings in an increasingly digital world. The resulting vivid abstractions are built of mundane and familiar forms and textures, washes of colour creating the illusion of depth.

Framing and care
These works are printed with high-quality pigment on archival, acid-free paper. Sunlight will accelarate discolouration and fade so frame as soon as possible or store in original packaging, which is acid-free and archival.
Frame according to budget, but be sure to include a mat (also known as a mount window) or spacer to create a little distance between the artwork and the glass or perspex. If you can afford to use a local framer, they will be able to advise on this. This will help to preserve the surface of your artwork.
The border left around the image is my aesthetic choice. It’s up to you whether you wish to leave this visible or to crop using a mount window. It is usual to keep the edition number, title and signature visible when framing.
Frame colour and material are entirely a matter of taste, but I advise a neutral colour mat or mount to complement the neutral tone of the paper upon which the artwork is printed.
